A633

A633 steel plate is a normalized high-strength low-alloy structural steel plates for welded, riveted or bolted construction. A633 plate steel can be used for low ambient temperatures where the desired notch toughness is better than in as-rolled materials of comparable strength level. ASTM A633 Grade E is a normalized high-strength low-alloy structural steel plate for welded, riveted or bolted construction requiring superior notch toughness performance at low ambient temperatures. A633 Grade E has a minimum yield strength of 60 ksi [415 MPa] and may be ordered with supplemental Charpy V-notch impact test requirements.
